Song Ji-hyo


Song Ji-hyo (born Cheon Seong-im, August 15, 1981) is a South Korean TV and film actress. She is well known for her television character portrayal of ballerina Min Hyo Rin in Princess Hours, Lady Ye So-ya in Jumong and as the Queen in the film A Frozen Flower. Currently, she appears on TV frequently as a member of Running Man, a popular Korean variety show.

Before debut as an actress, she was a model. In 2001, Song appeared in the music video for Lee Soo-young "And I Love You" and also in 2004, she appeared in the music video for JTL "Just Say Goodbye".

In 2006, Song appeared in the music video for Stay "믿을수없는말".

She was co-MC with Heechul of Super Junior on SBS's weekly live music show Inkigayo, from 11 November 2007 to 4 May 2008. Song also co-MC the 2009 Dream Concert with Heechul, which was held at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on 10 October.

In 2010, She appeared in two music video for Young Jee "Don't Listen To This Song".

She is currently a cast member of SBS variety show Running Man. Song was originally a guest for the second (episode 2-3) and third landmark (episode 4-5). She officially joined the program in the fourth landmark (episode 6) but was unable to attend until the fifth landmark (episode 7). Some of her characters on the show are Mong (blank) Ji-hyo (멍~ 지효), The Ace (에이스), Miss Mong (미스멍), Bad Ji-hyo, and one half of the Monday couple with Gary.

In 2011, She appeared in two music video for JYJ "In Heaven" and Young Jee "Not At All".

In November 2012, Song starred opposite label-mate Kim Jaejoong of JYJ in film Jackal is Coming. Song plays a clumsy female assassin who kidnaps Hallyu star, played by Jaejoong. Song received extensive training prior to the start of filming in May, and her first scenes involved a flip off from a 2 meter-high stack and other including scaling walls and hand-to-hand combat.

Ji-hyo currently dated Baek Chang-joo, who is the CEO of her current agency. Their relationship started on November 2011.
